1. Episode 1
Mariam recounts the story of her family, consisting of her mother, aunt, and grandmother, and gives an account of how they shunned men and depended solely on themselves to open their atelier. Hanan berates Soliman for abandoning his comatose sister. Talal is depressed that his girlfriend left him.
2. Episode 2
Thanyan tells Jaber he will buy and open up a new café. When Nizar quarrels with Soliman for treating Talal with contempt and tears his clothes, they head to the next-door atelier to repair them, which the girls do behind the grandmother's back.
3. Episode 3
Hanan tells her colleagues at the workshop that she won a prize. Kefah asks for her brother's approval to go and stay with her friends at the workshop. When Abdel Aziz learns that his wife has been taking contraceptives, he divorces her.
