Filthy Rich
This is a drama about Hong Kong's working-class man, Hung Chau-sang. After rescuing multimillionaire Mao Tin-tok's life by chance, Chau-sang is offered a job in his company. Unfortunately, Mao is mean, and Chau-sang is not given high-level work. To save face with his father, Chau-sang lies about his job position. Mao has two wives, who are always arguing, while Chau-sang's sister is a nurse who ends up with her childhood friend. Chau-sang falls in love with Mao's daughter, but they face opposition from Mao. When Mao and his business partner are kidnapped by a gang, Chau-sang and his family work hard to rescue them.

Episodes
1. Episode 1
SUN by chance got a video-tape which has been recorded KAN suffering from buggery. KAN arranges to pay the kidnapper money at a fixed place. SUN and his friend, WAN find the place again incidentally. SUN thinks that he will become rich. However, the money has been confiscated by the police. The kidnapper again extorts for ten million. KAN's father, KOT, is very mean. He reports the case to the police and goes to the board casting station to explain. He refuses to pay the kidnapper. SUN then hands back the video-tape to KAN. The police arrests him mistakenly. The robbers kidnaps DOT as they failed in extorting money from KAN. DOT escapes away but is hurt. Fortunately, SUN rescues him in time. DOT thanks SUN before the reporters. DOT even agrees to give SUN some reward.
2. Episode 2
In fact, DOT forgets what he said. SUN is mad at him. Later, SUN finds the reporter to confront with DOT. DOT then appoints SUN to be the assistant to manager. SUN's neighbour, YU, worries a lot for SUN. She even prepares breakfast and dinner for him. It is because she likes SUN a lot. SUN finds that the salary is low DOT even cheats SUN that he could buy a new flat with 20% discount. SUN feels lose face. Fortunately, WAN draws lots and gets the chance to buy a flat. He yields the right to SUN. LIN and SUN quarrel with each other regarding the car? parking issue. They also have misunderstandings in the company. WAN drives CHI to attend a banquet. On the way CHI's nose is bleeding. WAN is so scared that he crashes his car to the hillside.
3. Episode 3
CHI is being sent to the hospital. He is so frightened to see the old man next to him dies. WAN is unemployed. He then works as DOT's driver and earns seventeen thousand a month. SUN destroys WAI's Fung Shiu in the company and makes WAI hurt. Fortunately, LIN and DOT speak for SUN. SUN could then be escaped from being sacked. LIN knows that SUN has never spurts paints on her car. She wants to tell SUN her thought. However, SUN thinks that LIN again finds fault on him. He is very impolite to LIN. LIN leaves. FA's younger daughter, LUNG, backs to Hong Kong from Canada. He lives at DOT's home temporarily. LUNG even works in DOT's company as manager. He even imputes his fault to SUN. WAN only gets eight thousand for his salary. He is very angry.
