A Bride for a Ride

People say that a dragon is attacking Mui Lung County and lots of poultries are being killed. Chief guard of the county, TIGER WONG, and his teammates perform dragon dancing to lure the dragon. Besides safeguarding the county, TIGER is keen to kill the dragon because the girl SZE MUNG LO promises to marry the one who killed the dragon since her father was killed by the dragon. Gifted man CHOW MAN BUN is being attacked by the dragon on his way to attend the government examinations. BUN has no choice but to hide away in his cousin CHUK CHI SHAN's home. BUN later kills the dragon with TIGER. TIGER burns the books and money of BUN accidentally and he tries to make compensation by buying his calligraphy. TIGER's younger sister SAU YING loves arts and calligraphy very much so TIGER sends her the calligraphy. SAU YING used to admire BUN a lot but she is very disappointed to see his latest works for it's not as good as before.… ...

TIGER captures both SHAN and BUN to the jail. BUN claims that TIGER didn't kill the dragon that killed LO's father and LO refuses to marry TIGER. SHAN's wife KWAI FEI and TIGER's mother BING TAI know that LO doesn't really want to marry TIGER but they try very hard to persuade her. In order to marry LO, TIGER promises to search for the dragon in the mountain and TAI convinces the villagers to follow him as the witnesses. After learning that TIGER is bringing all villagers to the mountain, SHAN and BUN sneak away from the jail for they want to rescue the villagers. BUN meets the chivalrous woman MO SHAN LEUNG who is also looking for the dragon so he shows her the way. The dragon finally comes. TIGER asks all villagers to hide away and he fights with the dragon alone. Luckily, LEUNG arrives to join the fight and they finally kill the dragon together.… ...

TAI invites eight famous matchmakers home to discuss the marriage issue of TIGER but all the matchmakers are pessimistic towards the matter. BUN decides to pursue YING and he tries to convince YING that he is still very talented. SHAN stays to give him full support. TAI brings YING and the nursing mother to the temple to worship the god. BUN pretends to be a fortuneteller to serve YING but TIGER arrives to unmask him. TIGER and LEUNG are going to have a kung fu contest. LEUNG tries to search for bear gall bladders to heal her injury but TIGER buys all the bear gall bladders in town. LEUNG is upset and the relationship becomes worse with TIGER. In order to create a chance for him to explain himself to YING, BUN pretends to be a doctor to treat YING but TIGER unmasks him again. TAI organizes a Hero's Meet in order to find a wife for TIGER. TIGER tries to buy restorative to heal his injury but he mistakenly buys some love-potions.
