Sam Briggs is an entertainment magazine editor who will do anything to please his girlfriend's parents...but instead becomes a one-man wrecking crew whenever he's around them. Sam and Mel intend to reveal her pregnancy to her parents after a quiet dinner. However, when Sam misses the train after having a drunk girl throw up on him, the dinner starts becoming increasingly unlikely.

Sam tries to win over Dick by charming Angela, but then ruins any progress he made when he has a mishap with Dick's birds.
3. The Monitor
Sam seeks help from a friend repairing Dicks portrait, but problems arise when his buddy falls in love with Dick's daughter, Chloe.
