1. Episode 1
Seven years after his paintings landed him in the middle of a police case gone wrong, Shen Yi joins the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Beijiang Branch as the new portrait artist. But Captain Du Cheng is less than welcoming to the new transfer.
2. Episode 2
When a plastic surgeon dies of cyanide poisoning, Du Cheng must find the five plastic surgery clients whose hidden tapes are missing. But to make a match to medical records, Shen Yi must restore the faces from the videos to the way they looked before surgery.
3. Episode 3
After wrapping up the plastic surgeon’s murder, the team is called to investigate the discovery of a skeleton in a school field. Meanwhile, Du Cheng is puzzled and suspicious about why Shen Yi disappeared from the art world seven years ago and now has become a policeman.
