Realtor Margherita falls in love with an apartment she is supposed to be selling. Her husband, Carlo, meets with a nervous student about an assignment.

Margherita has a difficult time believing Carlo's version of what transpired between him and Sofía in the bathroom.

An overwhelmed Sofía decides to leave Milan. Tensions rise between Carlo and Margherita as their arguments reach a turning point.
