1. Episode I: Into the Void
Two elite snowboarders and a skier travel to Alaska’s Glacier Bay National Park to attempt an unprecedented descent of Mount Bertha amid hazardous winter weather. But when a whiteout exacerbates the already treacherous conditions, the entire mission is thrown into doubt.
2. Episode II: Raging Torrent
Three accomplished whitewater kayakers venture deep within Ecuador’s vast Llanganates National Park to attempt the first whitewater descent of the Chalupas River. With no map, guide, and only one point of emergency access to the outside world, the athletes must rely on one another to navigate the river’s uncompromising terrain.
3. Episode III: Reaching for the Sky
Two professional climbers travel to Kyrgyzstan’s Ak-Su Valley to attempt a route on Pik Slesova that has never been successfully free climbed by a single individual. But the partners’ dream mission is jeopardized by a COVID-19 diagnosis.
