Julia finds herself at her father's funeral on the day she was supposed to get married. After, she receives an unexpected delivery.

Michel and Julia are in Bruges; in the crowd, the young woman thinks she recognizes Christian, her father's faithful personal assistant; Julia remembers her childhood sweetheart, Tomas, whom she had met in Berlin when the Wall came down.
3. Episode 3
While Julia thought her great love died in Afghanistan, she discovers that he is alive, which Michel was perfectly aware of; all this time, he hid this information from her and never gave her a letter from Tomas received in 1991.
