The New Employee

introduces Seunghyun, a nervous intern, on his first day at his dream internship. He struggles with the office door, and then meets his superior, the handsome but distant Kim Jongchan. Jongchan, who initially appears intimidating, eventually helps Seunghyun adapt. Seunghyun also meets Lee Kanghae, another intern who provides guidance. Seunghyun, the nervous new intern, adapts to his work with the help of his boss, Kim Jongchan. Jongchan is impressed by Seunghyun's ideas for a new ad, and they decide to create the ad together, taking Seunghyun to a meeting. Seunghyun also unexpectedly encounters Na Yoo Seong, his college crush, who is friends with Jongchan.
