Detective Nick Maguire learns that his sister Sara, a nurse at the local penitentiary, disappeared during a mysterious prison break in which George escaped. While scouring the gritty streets of New Orleans, Nick finds George and learns that there was more to the prison break than anyone thought. Now, in order to save his sister, Nick will have to learn to trust George.

Nick's sister, Sara, is caught in the crossfire when vampires descend on Orleans County Penitentiary in an effort to assassinate George. Nick ignores the wishes of his former partner, Gina, and sets off to find Sara.
2. Part 2
Nick & George's paths convene in the home of a local drug dealer. Nick wants answers, but George has other concerns at the moment. Those concerns are realized when he learns the vampire assassin has been following him across town.
3. Part 3
Nick learns the truth about what's happening to his sister, while on the other side of town, Sara is making the horrifying discovery all for herself.
