Good People
Tom and Linda are thirtysomethings living in Belgium, along the French border. He is a policeman, she is a beautician, and they are on the verge of bankruptcy. Caught between a rock and a hard place, they embark on a get-rich-quick life insurance scam in an attempt to give themselves a fresh start someplace sunny. Episodes
1. Episode 1
In the middle of the night, Tom Leroy calls the emergency services to say that he has had a road accident and that his wife is stuck in the fiery wreck. When emergency services arrive, his wife is already dead.
2. Episode 2
A month before the accident, Tom and Linda try to get a new loan to save Linda's tanning salon. The bank refuses the loan and threatens to seize their house and other assets if they don't repay their outstanding debt soon.
3. Episode 3
A few days before the accident, Linda has thought everything through and has a plan to get out of trouble.
