1. Episode 1
When a ballerina turns up dead, her alleged stalker is accused of murder. Desperate, the suspect's mother turns to Italy's first female lawyer for help.

2. Episode 2
Much to Enrico's chagrin, Lidia agrees to defend an anarchist accused of murder. But the scandal goes deeper than she expected and lands her in trouble.

3. Episode 3
Lidia and Enrico discover some family secrets when, in an opioid haze, a man from Lidia's past confesses to patricide in her childhood home.
