1. Rosemarkie Man
Homicide detective Rod Demery and forensic scientist Turi King examine a skeleton unearthed in a remote sea cave in Scotland. Dated to the time of the Picts the team recreate the attack to deduce the victim’s most likely killer. Suspects include a sea raider a pagan and a rival leader.
2. Ötzi the Iceman
Homicide detective Rod Demery and scientist Professor Turi King examine Europe’s most famous ancient murder victim frozen where he was killed over 5000 years ago. The team learns how pollen in his gut can suggest his likely route before he died and then deduce who his killer might have been.
3. The Idaho Torso
Homicide detective Rod Demery and forensic scientist Turi King investigate a 100-year-old dismembered body found in a remote cave. Turi examines how genetic genealogy revealed the victim’s identity. When they find his wife was also murdered Rod questions widely accepted beliefs about the killer.
