Staying in the grounds of the Alhambra, he meets food writer Fiona Dunlop to learn about Granada's traditional cuisine, and tries his hand at the potter's wheel in a 500-year-old family business.

In the coastal city of Malaga, Michael enjoys one of Spain's biggest street parties: the Feria. He also visits the incredible hilltop town of Ronda, and stops off at a vineyard.

Michael visits the ancient city of Cordoba and the Costa del Sol, savouring the mixture of Roman, Muslim, and Christian civilisations and meeting an olive oil farmer.
