One day, Tsuru happens to be at a convenience store and gets caught up in a robbery, where she meets Saruwatari Hibiki (Maruyama Ryuhei), who has been transferred from the Metropolitan Police Department. Tsuru has an outstanding memory, while Saruwatari is unconventional and intuitive. These two polar opposites join forces to tackle an unsolved case: a hit-and-run involving a bear. The mystery of the "black bear" and the "white bear" emerges. And what is the surprising truth that Tsuru's memory leads to?

While listening to the stories of those involved, including professional boxer Kumada Hiroki (Sano Gaku), who was the first to discover the body, and Hachiya Mitsuru (Holiday Section Chief), the son of the temple's head priest (Rokupei Naomasa), who runs a Thai restaurant, Tsuru senses something is amiss. At Tsuru's suggestion, they begin undercover investigations at the boxing gym and the Thai restaurant, and the two begin to gradually get closer to the heart of the case...
