Focused on preparing for his trip and beginning a life dedicated to religion, Salvador meets Carolina, a young and cheerful seamstress who, upon seeing him, shows obvious love. After a brief conversation, the two share a long-held affection. Later, at dinner, to say goodbye to his friends and begin a spiritual retreat, Salvador meets Carolina again. This time, they both surrender to their passion, never imagining that María Luisa would almost find them together. Excited about the new life she's experiencing, Carolina visits Salvador's house hoping to tell him they're expecting a child. However, María Luisa refuses to tell him where she is and explodes with rage upon learning that the young woman is pregnant with his child. Upon arriving in the city, Carolina finds it extremely difficult to give her daughter what she so desperately needs. In the midst of a stormy night, desperation forces her to leave her little girl in a house far from her care.

After being forced to leave her daughter in a group home and ending up hospitalized, Carolina rushed from the clinic in search of her little girl. Unfortunately for her, she received devastating news that made her vow never to touch her heart with anyone. With a painful past, Cristina grew up in a foster home where she dreamed of becoming a famous model and working for the renowned Carolina Guillén. During the presentation of Carolina's new clothing line, Carlos had the opportunity to speak with a prominent businesswoman. When he broke the news to his mother that her designs would be available in a prominent New York store, she was overjoyed. Moments before a benefit for the foster home where Cristina grew up, Carlos had a moment of confusion filled with love. Carolina's son thinks the young woman is the new model they've been waiting for.

While Cristina was desperately searching for a bouquet of white flowers for Carolina, Manuel mistook her for a saleswoman. The young woman corrected him and, thanks to her charisma, won the music producer's affection. Desperate to arrive with the bouquet she had ordered for Carolina's event, Cristina arrived excitedly before the prestigious designer. However, she behaved rudely and offensively toward her great admirer. After the heated encounter with Carolina, in which she felt offended, Cristina expressed her deep disappointment. Now, the admiration she felt for the designer had turned to sadness. After losing her purse, Cristina received an unexpected visit at her home from Manuel, who delivered it to her. Upon learning that Carolina had been rude to her, the producer offered the young woman another chance to meet his wife.
