The Troubled Life of Miss Kotoura
Haruka, a girl who suffers during her childhood due to her ability to read people's mind, is starting her high-school life in a new school. When she transferred in, she feels that her life will be the same as ever, but then she meets Manabe, a guy who always think about erotic things, and a club consisting of people who aren't afraid of her ability. With Manabe and her clubmates around, her gloomy life slowly start to bloom and enjoyable.

Because of Kotoura's abilities she has never had a real friend or a loving family. But that changes when she transfers into a new school and meets Manabe, who gets too excited about her special talent.

Kotoura gets recruited into a club that puts her further into the limelight. But the President of the club has an alternative plans for Kotoura.
3. So Happy, So Fun
As Haruka tries to keep the fact she overheard Yoshihisa's confession from him, she and the others go to a karaoke place, where it is soon revealed that Haruka is completely tone deaf. The next evening, as Haruka plans to make a home-made lunch for Yoshihisa, Yoshihisa is attacked by some karate members asked by Hiyori to slightly rough him up, although they end up taking it a bit too far and end up hospitalizing him. As word reaches the class the next day, Haruka hears Hiyori's stressed thoughts as she fears being found out by everyone. However, Haruka instead chooses to give her some assurance before going to visit Yoshihisa in hospital. After hearing Yoshihisa's thoughts about how he didn't want to get Haruka involved, she feels guilty that she is just hurting others in her place and moves away.
