

Man's Best Friend
Although Tai Jin-sek has a canine partner, Rocky, he does not get along with his neighbour, Man Wing-long, who is a dog-loving veterinarian. When Wing-long's dog goes missing, she is quick to accuse Jin-sek of being the cause. The dynamics between the two neighbours change when Wing-long's friend, Au Ji-san, moves in with Wing-long and Jin-sek quickly falls in love with her. To complicate things further, Wing-long is also fielding a love interest at work, from a fellow veterinarian, Man Hok-yan.
Overview

1. Episode 1
SHEK has a conflict with ROCKY, a police dog in an operation of arresting illegal immigrants. ROCKY, with humanity, decides to teach him a lesson. SHEK lives with CHUNG, his uncle, a gambler who always pay his debts with the electrical appliances at home. This always gives SHEK a headache. LONG, SHEK'S neighbor, is a nurse who works with a vet, YAN. YAN is passionate to animals. SHAN, LONG's best friend, whose wallet has been snatched and is found by SHEK. SHEK is very much interested in SHAN. WAH, who is SHAN'S boyfriend and a movie playwright, leads a hectic life. SHAN has a harmonious relationship with her family. SHEK, having difficulty to deal with people, applies to transfer to the canine division. SHEK and CHUNG win the Mark Six Lottery but the coupon is unfortunately taken away by DONG-DONG, a dog raised by LONG.

2. Episode 2
LONG reprimands CHUNG and SHEK for bullying DONG-DONG. DONG DONG is found missing in the next morning. LONG. Suspecting CHUNG & SHEK, LONG reports the case to the police and also posts bills to search for DONG DONG. SHEK succeeds in transferring to the canine division but his assigned dog unexpectedly is ROCKY whose uncooperative attitude worries SHEK. SHAN move to village house living with WAH. On SHEK'S exam day, ROCKY, considering SHEK could help him to find the killer of its ex-owner,, co-operates with SHEK to pass his exam. On its beat, ROCKY, running across DUDU, startles at her beauty but SHEK suspects it is the pet of his ex-girlfriend. SHAN and WAH move to SHEK'S downstairs and become neighbor. WAH has an affair with IVY, SHAN'S enemy, and cheated SHAN. ROCKY, who flies into rage and scares gangsters away gets SHEK into trouble as complaints arise.… ...

3. Episode 3
SHAN settles down and continues her work. However, IVY has taken the officer position by hook or by crook. SHAN resigns after beating IVY up. When the police escort a suspect to rehearse at his home, he suddenly realizes it is the crime scene for the case of body dissection. The prospective buyer, accompanied by SHAN, is scared off but SHEK takes upon to be her tenant. SHAN appreciates SHEK and moves to the third floor to live with them. On beat with SHEK, ROCKY sees HUIN, the killer, and chases him madly. SHEK can make neither head nor tail of it. ROCKY goes to look for HUIN on its own and let SHEK take the blame again. Running across furious bandits, ROCKY is hurt for saving SHEK whose superior, MAN is dissatisfied with his performance and orders him to be retrained at camp. SHEK thinks MAN is picking on him. New tenants on the second floor are unexpectedly WAH and IVY.… ...
