It was produced for six series by The Foundation, airing on CBBC from 4 October 2002 to 21 December 2007. The show is a spin-off from the original 1960's/1970's BBC television series, but without any of the original cast.

Basil winds up in an unlikely double-date from hell when Stephen falls for the new girl in town - with messy results. There is more than just egg left on everyone's face.
2. Mouse
There is a mouse in the house that is eating everything it can find. So Basil and co. have to outwit the mouse in a game of cat-and-mouse!
3. The Statley Home
Steven meets a gypsy and wishes to be handsome, and when his wish comes true, all the girls begin slobbering over him.
