The grave of a man named Chou Shakurin has been disturbed in the Chinese countryside. A girl named Houhou, claiming to be the granddaughter of the grave's occupant, appears there. At the same time, Chou Soran, a student at a college in the city, has returned to the countryside to visit his grandfather Shakurin's grave.

The morning after the zombie attack, Soran returns to college. Houhou tells him that she’ll be going to the same college he is, and she asks him to show her the power he used to fight the zombies.
