When a model who looks like Miyuki goes missing, Miyuki is recruited to take her place at a fashion show event in Hong Kong. Hajime and Miyuki go to Hong Kong, where they run into their friend, Saki... and Miyuki is abducted!

While surprising information about the parentage of several of the people involved is revealed, Ran is kidnapped for real and the true nature of the Poison Dragon comes to light. Ran's tattoo indicates the whereabouts of a nuclear bomb that could detonate in less than 12 hours!

While Detective Li races to find the bomb before it goes off, Kindaichi goes back to the hotel to recreate the first murder. But how can one killer account for three murders when all of the main suspects have perfect alibis?
