The uprising hangs in the air. In the German army there is growing skepticism about the future fate of war and Warsaw. Rainer is mocking the current plans of the army command. Bronek and Władek become commanders of AK platoons. Together with Michał and Janek they receive a special task - they are to pick up a courier from London with very important information for the command of the uprising. A story about the fighting route of one branch. The last days of July 1944. Throughout Warsaw pull columns of German troops withdrawn from the eastern front. The city is growing.
