Antwerp detective inspector Tom Segers and his partner Rob Biesemans have been after the drug gang of 'Rosse (i.e red-haired) John' for a long time. During a critical stake-out, they go in before reinforcements are properly in position, and Rob gets killed by Rosse. As if facing his buddy's widow and orphan weren't bad enough, Tom is under serious investigation by internal affairs.
