1. Photographer of Diseases
Igarashi often gets fired because he doesn't seem to understand people's feelings. This brings him to work in a new hospital, Amakasu General Hospital. He meets Mr. Kikujima, a world renowned photographer, and tries to find the cause for his severe headaches when everyone else believes it's the rupture of an aneurysm. He also meets his childhood friend, Amakasu An who stood up for him when he was bullied during his childhood.
2. The 1 in 500,000
Chiba Kentaro goes to the hospital with his mom for a knee check-up. Amakasu diagnoses it as growing pains but Igarashi thinks otherwise. Another scan proves that it is something else. Throughout the whole process, Amakasu soon begins to learn the importance of technicians in the hospital.
3. Rabbit In The Snow
Hayama Kyoko goes for a premarital health check-up. Initial mammogram shows no abnormalities, but Igarashi doubts it as she has dense breasts and cancer runs in her family. To Igarashi's surprise, Amakasu helps him to get permission for an MRI scan. From this case, Amakasu begins to learn to do things for the sake of the patients.
